Hot Stamp Ogatana Tsuba

A massive iron tsuba for an ogatana, worn slung over the shoulder. The sand iron plate is a rich brown black, with an appearance of moisture, and a plastic feeling, is decorated with various stamps of han, bats and the moon. 9.88 cm x 9.09 cm x 4.7 mm approximately. My best guess is early - mid Edo Shoami. This is a unique serious collector piece. $1,200
